NYFW SS23: Bosideng

I had the incredible opportunity to shoot for six different fashion designers this past New York Fashion Week, from high fashion to sportswear to sustainable small businesses. I loved meeting the models, hair and makeup teams, attendees, as well as other photographers. There are so many brilliantly creative people in this industry and I feel blessed to have met them all. Here’s to the next shows, I can’t wait!

Bosideng is a China-based outerwear company, with its runway pieces tending to have bold silhouettes made from down fabric, scuba material, and even leather. The music choices were dramatic, drawing the viewer into the long lines of the clothing and heavy boots of the models. The show was held at Spring Studios, the premier location for fashion shows during NYFW. Going backstage at Spring Studios, I stood in awe at everything: the models walking in so elegantly getting ready for the show, the hair and makeup trials, and seeing other photographers running around. It felt like a dream, and I hope these photos do too.
